Business Sales Consultant

The  Business Sales Consultant (also known as Hunter position) will be located in Cape Town Pinelands. The SME Candidate will be responsible for obtaining new business contracts to Cosmo-ICT by selling Enterprise products, including MTN Fibre, Cloud Connect, Broadband, VoIP, APN, IoT, and MTN Mobile and Data products. The type of companies and clients are Medium to Large Businesses, Government, Public Sector, Corporate, and NPO.

Purpose of the Job

The main objective feature of the Business Consultant position is to increase sales volumes, targets, and quotas. The candidate will also need to engage with new and existing clients with an enterprise solution that will solve the challenge the client is experiencing.

The Job requirements include:

  • Meet and exceed sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Prospecting for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
  • Draft and deliver proposals to new clients with requested deals and upselling solution opportunities for value growth.
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for the company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales.
  • Report on sales activity, Provide forecasts on the best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation.
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace to ensure and maintain credibility.
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

Minimum requirements:

  • Evidence of experience in dealing with SME Clients and what has been sold to those clients.
  • Matric Qualification.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Formal qualification i.e. certificate/diploma (preferable).
  • Offices based in Cape Town.
