Capetown Outbound Telesales Consultant

The position of Outbound Telesales Consultant is based in Cape Town CBD. The selected candidate will have the responsibility of selling products, processing orders through the MTN system, conducting prospecting through cold calling to acquire new business, and delivering comprehensive product and service information to customers.

Purpose of the Job

The primary goal of the Outbound Telesales position is to drive sales volumes, meet targets, and achieve quotas. The candidate will also be responsible for engaging with both new and existing clients, offering them enterprise solutions that effectively address the challenges they are currently facing.

The Job requirements include:

  • Prospecting by cold calling and securing new business and managing the customer’s account.
  • Meet and exceed sale volume and revenue targets.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to customers’ emails, and do follow-ups on an open application.
  • Management and resolving customer complaints.
  • Sell products and process orders on the MTN system.
  • Provide product and service information to customers.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric or Equivalent Qualification
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications).
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills.
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.
  • Clean criminal Record.
