Telesales Consultant

The Telesales consultant will be in a customer service industry and will be responsible to process orders, request stock based on client preference, complete order forms, and finalize data & mobile contract applications. The customer service Telesales consultant will be required to document all call information according to standard operating procedures. The ability to research, identify, and resolve customer complaints using in-house systems is one of the main day-to-day objectives.

Purpose of the Job

The objective of the job is to make and manage contract calls to clients, document contracts and share feedback to supervisors and managers while and increasing milestone sales within the industry position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer’s emails
  • Management and resolve customer complaints
  • Sell products and place customer orders in the computer system
  • Identify and escalate issues to supervisors
  • Provide product and service information to customers
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Research, identify and resolve customer complaints using applicable software
  • Process orders, forms, and application
  • Route calls to appropriate resources
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary
  • Upsell products and services
  • Complete call logs and reports
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Matric or Equivalent Qualification
  • Tertiary Qualification will be favored however not a limitation
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,  Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications).
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately

  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Clean criminal Record
  • Must have the ability to reach set monthly sales targets
  • Manage Contact leads and report on them daily as required
